Cornerback says he hears taunts from around NFL Brad Biggs
The friends Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has around the league are making fun of the Philadelphia Eagles.
And the taunts DRC are hearing are the most unflattering for someone playing defensive football.
“Everybody looks at us as a pretty defense,” Rodgers-Cromartie said, according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “They’re just big guys with big talent that don’t really want to hit nobody.”
Worse?
“When I look at film, it's fair," Rodgers-Cromartie said.
It is a reputation defenses can earn when they don’t tackle well. The Eagles certainly have not been doing that well and there was plenty of evidence on the field Monday night in a loss at New Orleans.
There is only one way to turn this around and that’s to go out and play hard-nosed football. And win.
