Da'Quan Bowers in New York for felony gun charge today

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Da’Quan Bowers will head to court in New York today to face felony gun charges from the incident that led to his arrest Feb. 19 at La Guardia Airport.

Bowers is accused of carrying a .40 caliber hand gun in his luggage to the check-in counter, and he faces two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, Class C felonies in New York that carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 3
