Just a week ago, an exuberant Miami Dolphins owner Steven Ross predicted that young quarterback Chad Henne could become the greatest quarterback in team history.
Of course, that's quite a statement or burden considering that Dan Marino played for the Dolphins along with a guy named Bob Griese.
So, what does Marino himself think about the lofty comparisons?
"He gave them a chance to win a lot, which for a young quarterback is the most important thing," Marino told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "He's got a strong arm from what I've seen on film. ... Very strong arm. I think he's going to do nothing but get better."
The Dolphins have added star wide receiver Brandon Marshall, boosting Henne's chances of putting up bigger numbers this year.
"As a quarterback, if you ask Chad, you never have enough weapons," Marino said. "You always want more. If you have talent, and you have talent around you, you're going to get better. They are doing that with adding Brandon Marshall to some of the guys they already have. He will continue to improve."
