Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn got closed out of any head-coaching vacancies as his team won Super Bowl XLVIII.
Afterward, Quinn told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he would have accepted the Browns' job if he had been offered.
"I certainly would've been interested,'' Quinn said. "I mean, it's a big-time place. It's the Cleveland Browns.''
The Seahawks had the top-ranked defense this season and dominated the Denver Broncos.
The Seahawks forced four turnovers.
Quinn said he had no regrets about not taking a second interview for a job that wound up going to Mike Pettine.
"None,'' Quinn said. "Not one.''
There will undoubtedly be future opportunities for Quinn.
