Patriots receiver Danny Amendola toughed out a groin injury during the season-opener against the Bills.

He was unable to play Thursday due to the injury, with his latest prognosis a wide range of how much time he could miss. According to a report from the NFL Network, Amendola could miss as little as two weeks or as many six.

That would indicate the Patriots aren't sure yet about how this injury could potentially linger. Another thing to consider is that Amendola has a long injury history, something the Patriots had to have taken into consideration when it allowed Wes Welker to walk out of the clubhouse and into Denver's.
