Danny Trevathan has medial tibial fracture, to miss 6-8 weeks

Denver Broncos starting linebacker Danny Trevathan has a fractured left medial tibial compression fracture, the team announced.

Trevathan underwent a magnetic resonance imaging exam today after being carted off the field.

He didn't suffer a torn anterior cruciate or medial collateral ligament.

Trevathan will miss six to eight weeks.

He'll be out for at least the first three games.
