The backup of the backup now has a place on the NFC Pro Bowl roster.

Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett has been named as a replacement addition for the all-star game.

Dockett will take the place of the Minnesota Vikings’ Kevin Williams, who has backed out of the game because his wife is due to give birth. Williams had been added as an injury replacement for Detroit Lions’ rookie Ndamukong Suh.

This is the third Pro Bowl selection for Dockett, who was an all-star after the 2007 and 2009 seasons.
