The Arizona Cardinals will be hoping for the best with defensive tackle Darnell Dockett.

The veteran was carted off of the practice field on Monday after injuring his knee, the team announced on its personal Twitter account. Dockett will have an MRI to assess the damage.

This would be a major blow to a Cardinals defense that looks to be strong in 2014.

A season ago, Dockett recorded 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks. In his previous 10 seasons, Dockett has only missed two games.
