Darnell Stapleton, a starting guard for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII, is healthy and ready to return to the NFL.
His agent, Ed Wasielewski, reported that Stapleton is 100 percent back from his knee injury that cost him last season, and that he will pass NFL conditioning tests. Stapleton reportedly worked out for the New England Patriots earlier this week.
The Florida Tuskers of the UFL acquired the rights to Stapleton, but he is intent on playing in the NFL this season.
