DeAngelo Williams rips on upset fantasy football players

DeAngelo Williams has not been playing well for the struggling Carolina Panthers.

Apparently, upset fans and fantasy football players have been letting him have it on Twitter.

On Sunday, after Williams rolled for six yards on six carries in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, he fired back, according to the Charlotte Observer.

“Dear upset fantasy owners with the bad language you are a fantasy owner for a reason because you can't play or apparently fantasy coach!” Williams wrote on his personal Twitter account.

What ensued was a bit of a Twitter firestorm.

Williams has 173 yards on 48 carries with two touchdowns to this point. He is averaging 3.6 yards per carry and has lost on fumble. Last year, he had 836 yards and seven touchdowns after signing his massive free-agent contract.
