Delanie Walker discusses lawsuit – sort of

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker, who is a defendant in a civil lawsuit, along with former San Francisco 49ers teammate Aldon Smith, tried not to say too much about the matter when asked on Wednesday.

Walker, who signed with Tennessee as a free agent, did find the timing of the litigation odd, given the start of the season.

"Everything's strange when something comes out, and it's football season it's about to start," Walker said via TitanInsider.

The alleged incident, which Ronndale Esporlas claimed caused him injuries from Walker and Smith firing shots into the air from June 2012, was a hot topic, but the tight end preferred to discuss the Titans opening game opponent.

"I'm just focusing on Pittsburgh and learning the scheme, and that's something that I can't worry about that happened a year ago,” he said.
