The Michigan quarterback has now officially gone mainstream and into the pop culture landscape after being the subject of a Jeopardy clue on a recent show.
This was the $200 clue under the category "Athletes":
Answer: "University of Michigan QB Denard Robinson, who runs a 10.4 100 meters, is known for never tying these."
Contestant's Response: "What are his shoes?"
Alex Trebek: "Yeah, that's right."
But wasn't the correct answer "Shoelaces," which is Robinson's nickname? Nonetheless, the judges accepted the answer. Check out the video below of the dual-threat signal-caller's big national TV moment.
