Minnesota Vikings linebacker Desmond Bishop was placed on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

For the season, Bishop had four tackles in four games.

The Packers promoted rookie wide receiver Rodney Smith from the practice squad to the active roster.

Bishop, 29, was sidelined last season with the Green Bay Packers due to a hamstring injury.
