Cowboys WR will have tough questions to answer Brad Biggs
We’ll see how this latest Dez Bryant incident plays out but the details of the police report from DeSoto, Texas, paint a disturbing picture.
Sure, he was charged with only misdemeanor assault on Monday when he turned himself into police but the 23-year-old was involved with an altercation with his mother Angela Bryant that can only be described as ugly.
According to Matt Peterson of the Dallas Morning News, Angela Bryant has accused her son in an arrest affidavit of grabbing her by the T-shirt and ripping it and the bra she was wearing. He then allegedly slapped her in the face with his cap and grabbed her by the hair before throwing a ball at her. When police examined her, her wrists were swollen and her left thumb was injured, allegedly from trying to escape his grasp.
“I can’t keep letting him do me like this,” Angela Bryant said in a recording released by DeSoto police. “I’m tired. I’m going to put an end to it today.”
No one is talking about the matter now but this isn’t going to go away any time soon and Bryant is going to have to likely answer some tough questions from the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys.
