All reports are that Dez Bryant had a terrific introduction to the NFL in the Dallas Cowboys rookie minicamp this weekend.
But he didn’t make it off the Cowboys Stadium field this afternoon unscathed. Bryant limped off the field after suffering a sprained ankle, an injury coach Wade Phillips said was not serious. Bryant had turned to try to catch an underthrown ball on a deep route and hurt himself.
It was a productive opening weekend for the big receiver from Oklahoma State and it will be interesting to see how he is integrated when the team gathers again for the full-squad minicamp.
