An article from Sports Illustrated about Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis said that he might have used a banned substance in his return from a torn triceps this season.

A representative of Sports Alternatives to Steroids (SWATS) taped an interview with Lewis geting instructions on how to use the deer antler spray, which contains IGF-1, which is on the NFL's banned substances list.

Of course, with Lewis retiring, there is little the league can do to suspend him for next season, if indeed, such a thing happened. But it certainly makes the buildup leading to Lewis' last game in the NFL after 16 seasons add just one more twist to an already intriguing career.
