First episode reveals plenty behind the scenes in Miami. Terry McCormick
The Miami Dolphins' first epside on HBO's "Hard Knocks" was good enough that even one of the team's beat writers, Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, came away impressed.
A few of the highlights included new Dolphins coach Joe Philbin admonishing Chad Johnson for swearing too much in his press conference, and the club's contract negotiator, Dawn Aponte, expressing frustration over the stalled talks that kept rookie Ryan Tannehill out of camp for the first couple of days.
The show goes all through the Dolphins camp, showing both star players and those who are little known. One of those unknowns - tight end Les Brown - was caught on camera uttering a profanity, to which he later tweeted an apology to his mom while the show aired.
