Dolphins' Pouncey misses practice to testify before Hernandez grand jury

Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey missed practice Wednesday to testify in front of a grand jury paneled for the Aaron Hernandez murder case, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Pouncey was served with a subpoena on Oct. 27 following a loss to the New England Patriots by Massachusetts State Police.

The injury report listed Pouncey as missing practice for non-injury reasons.

Pouncey played in college with Hernandez at the University of Florida.

Hernandez has been charged with allegedly murdering Odin Lloyd.

He was cut by the Patriots as first-degree murder charges were filed against him. He has pleaded not guilty.
