Miami Dolphins fourth-round cornerback Walt Aikens has signed his rookie contract.
Aikens is slotted for a $2.635 million deal that include a $415,908 signing bonus.
Before the draft, Aikens visited the Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills and worked out privately for the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and the Jaguars.
Aikens played in the Senior Bowl where he excelled.
He's an All-Big South Conference selection who had 62 tackles and three interceptions last season.
Aikens has 4.4 speed, a 35-inch vertical leap and a 7.12 three-cone drill.
He began his career at Illinois before transferring to Liberty.
