The Miami Dolphins have hired former Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor as their new offensive coordinator, according to ESPN.

Lazor had a strong year working with Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, helping him develop into a successful first-year starter.

ESPN had previously reported that Lazor was heading to the Detroit Lions, but has now reversed that report as Lazor heads south to work with Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
