The Miami Dolphins moved receiver Brandon Gibson to season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday.
Gibson tore his patella tendon in Miami's 27-17 loss to New England this past Sunday. Up until that point he had caught a four-yard pass for a touchdown.
The injury will require surgery.
Gibson came to Miami after spending his first four years in St. Louis. For the 2013 season, Gibson caught 30 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns.
