The Miami Dolphins have placed offensive tackle Will Yeatman on injured reserve, ending his season.

National Football Post reported last week that Yeatman tore his anterior cruciate ligament in practice.

The Dolphins promoted rookie center Sam Brenner from the practice squad to the active roster, taking over Yeatman's vacated roster spot.

Starting center Mike Pouncey is questionable with an illness.

Brenner was with the team during training camp prior to being waived and signed to the practice squad.

The 6-foot-2, 310-pounder played collegiately at Utah.
