Dolphins promote Aaitui from practice squad

The Miami Dolphins have promoted defensive tackle Isaako Aaitui from the practice squad to the active roster.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder spent the past four weeks on the practice squad.

An undrafted free agent from UNLV, Aaitui has previous stints with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints.

Aaitui was a two-year starter at UNLV, during his career where he recorded 73 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. As a senior in 2010 he was a third-team all-Mountain West Conference selection.
