Dolphins promote Jordan Kovacs

The Miami Dolphins have promoted safety Jordan Kovacs from the practice squad to the active roster.

This is the second promotion for Kovacs.

He was first signed from the team's practice squad on Oct. 5, where he spent the next five weeks on the active roster, appearing in four games and registering one special teams tackle.

Kovacs was waived on Nov. 11, 2013, signed back to the practice squad two days later. He was with the team during training camp prior to being waived and signed to the practice squad.

The Dolphins re-signed nose guard Isaak Aaitui and safety D.J. Campbell to the practice squad.
