The Miami Dolphins have retained two exclusive-rights free agents with qualifying offers: wide receiver Davone Bess and kicker Dan Carpenter.

Bess caught 76 passes for 758 yards and two touchdowns last season.

In two NFL seasons, the former Hawaii standout has registered 130 receptions for 1,312 yards and three touchdowns.

Carpenter was an injury replacement at the Pro Bowl after converting 25 of 28 field goals last season, including a long conversion from 52 yards.

In two NFL seasons, the former Montana kicker has connected on 46 of 53 field goals.

Bess is the perfect example of how the NFL for the most part has no clue what there doing, I mean heres bess who caught a load of passes in Hawaii, then is undrafted and becomes arguably the best slot receiver in the NFL. Now the fins are like whoa this kid out of Hawaii is pretty good lets get his former teamate in grice mullins, It would just be a dream come true if they got june jones and brought brennan while they were at it.
