The Miami Dolphins agreed to a four-year, $16 million contract with defensive tackle Earl Mitchell, according to a league source.
Mitchell got $9 million guaranteed.
Mitchell, 26, replaced Shaun Cody in the starting lineup last season.
He recorded 48 tackles last season.
Mitchell is a former Texans third-round draft pick from Arizona.
