Miami making no secret in hunting for a quarterback. Terry McCormick
The Miami Dolphins would be interested in Peyton Manning if he is healthy and becomes an unrestricted free agent if the Indianapolis Colts decline his $28 million roster bonus in March.
Well, duh, you say. Nearly every team in the free world would entertain the idea of having a healthy Peyton Manning on its roster. But the Miami Herald says the Dolphins would be serious players in the bidding for the 36-year-old quarterback, provided he can play somewhere near his old form and with minimal risk of re-injuring his neck. Serious enough interest that he would be their priority in the off-season.
The report says an available Manning would trump Green Bay backup Matt Flynn, who had been regarded as a possibility for the Dolphins since Joe Philbin is coming from the Packers to be head coach in Miami. Thus far, the scuttlebutt on Flynn has been lukewarm at best on South Beach.

A healthy Peyton Manning isn't a quick fix--it's a guaranteed Play Off berth.
Nothing is guaranteed, Payton will have to learn a new offense and the terminology.
The goal is to win the Super Bowl, not just make the playoffs.
Matt Flynn knows the offense and will just keep getting better . Peyton is better off going to a team thats a quarterback away from winning it all. Maybe Houston, San Fran or Dallas

Miami always tries quick fix plans and it gets them right in the position they are now in.
