WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens cornerback Domonique Foxworth is recovering from surgery to repair his torn anterior cruciate ligament, a season-ending injury that has him on injured reserve.
Foxworth announced on his Twitter account that Dr. James Andrews performed the procedure on Tuesday.
"My knee is killin me," Foxworth wrote following the surgery. "And almost everytime I eat a lil bit and take pain meds I throw-up."
Foxworth is expected to make a complete recovery from the surgery by next season.
Foxworth injured his right knee during a walkthrough practice one day prior to the first full-team practice of training camp.
