Tampa Bay placed running back Doug Martin on injured reserve for the remainder of the season with a torn labrum in his left shoulder. The move assures that Michael James will serve as the starter for the Buccaneers, who face Miami on Monday night.

Martin finished the season with 456 yards and one touchdown after having a strong rookie season.
