Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil was arrested on a third-degree felony assault charge on Saturday night, according to the Denver Post.
Dumervil was released from the Dade County jail, according to jail records, but no details of the incident has yet been brought to light.
Dumervil's agent, Marty Magid, said there had been no charges filed in the matter.
"No charges have been filed, no assault took place. It is likely that when the police have completed their investigation, no charges will be filed against Elvis," said Magid,
A conviction on a felony assault charge in Florida carries with it a mandatory three-year prison sentence.
