The Philadelphia Eagles' offense has absorbed another blow.
With wide receiver Jeremy Maclin already out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, wide receiver Arrelious Benn tore the ACL in his left knee and is also done for the year.
Benn was acquired via a trade from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason.
A former second-round draft pick from Illinois, Benn has 59 career receptions for 862 yards and five touchdowns.
The Eagles also cut wide receiver David Ball. He played collegiately for Eagles coach Chip Kelly at New Hampshire.
The Eagles are also dealing with the locker room fallout from wide receiver Riley Cooper using a racial slur at a Kenny Chesney concert.
