The Tampa Bay Buccaneers shopped and shopped with Arrelious Benn and now they have found a taker for the wide receiver.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced they have acquired the wide receiver in a trade. The Eagles shipped their sixth-round draft pick to the Bucs for Benn and a seventh-round draft pick.
Benn has struggled to produce with the Bucs, getting overshadowed as a rookie by Mike Williams. The Bucs selected Benn in the second round in 2009 from Illinois. In three seasons, Benn has 59 receptions for 862 yards.
So, Philadelphia takes a low-risk attempt to kick-start Benn’s career.
