The Philadelphia Eagles have some decisions to make with their receivers, given two entering free agency.
As a result, it appears the organization is expected to release another receiver. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles are expected to part ways with veteran wideout Jason Avant.
Avant was slated to count almost $4 million against the cap in 2014. With Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper hitting the market at the same time, the Eagles will likely need to create some cap relief to get both of the younger receivers locked up.
Avant's contributions have dwindled the past couple of seasons, though he's always been revered as a locker room leader.
