Says business with club will not be affected Brad Biggs
Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and his wife Christina are splitting.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the couple is divorcing, ending their 20-year marriage. A letter was sent to club employees that explained the couple would remain “close friends” and that they would continue to work as partners.
The couple said the move will not impact business with the franchise.
“We share the same goals for the Eagles that we have always had. We want a world championship team, of course, and we want to carry on the dedicated community service that is so much a part of this company's heart and soul,” the couple wrote, according to the Inquirer.
"We will strive to improve even further and make the Eagles a sports organization of which we are all very proud."
