Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was married over the weekend.
Lurie, 61, married Tina Lai, 22 years his junior in a private ceremony, according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
It was announced last summer that Lurie and his former wife Christina were splitting after 20 years of marriage. Lurie maintained full control of the Eagles following the divorce although Christina remains a part owner, per the report.
“I've structured this franchise around having complete control, (including) 100 percent voting and total, final decision-making,” Lurie said last summer. “That continues. I've always had a couple of limited partners that were nonvoting and not involved in decisions, football decisions particularly. That continues. Christina will also be a limited partner as she has been, just like the other limited partners.”
