Here’s the latest from Philadelphia:

The Eagles have traded veteran defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2012 fifth-round draft pick, the team announced this afternoon. Even before Saturday’s signing of free agent Cullen Jenkins, many in Philadelphia were speculating that Bunkley would not be back with the team in 2011.

Noel DevineICONNoel Devine is once again a free agent.

In addition, the Eagles and linebacker Akeem Jordan reached an agreement on a one-year contract Saturday. Jordan signed with the team as a rookie free agent in 2007 and has made 20 starts in four years with the Birds.

Lastly, the Eagles waived running back Noel Devine (West Virginia) Saturday afternoon just four days after signing him off the street as a rookie free agent. No reason was given, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Devine’s recent injury history had something to do with the move.

I’m starting to think we should change the name of this site to National Eagles Post.com.
