Eagles trade for Darren Sproles

Running back heads to Eagles Aaron Wilson

The New Orleans Saints have traded all-purpose running back Darren Sproles to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sproles joins the Eagles in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick.

Sproles could have a versatile role in Chip Kelly's offense.

He could form a nice tandem with LeSean McCoy.

The Washington Redskins were also interested in Sproles, but the Saints made the deal with Philadelphia.
