Eagles trying to trade DeSean Jackson
The Philadelphia Eagles have redoubled their attempts to trade Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Per the report, the Eagles have directly called other teams to attempt to relocate Jackson.
The team hasn't commented on Jackson's status.
"He's as good as gone," a source close to Jackson told the newspaper.
Will the Eagles be able to trade a player with a $10.25 million base salary?
Maybe, maybe not.
Comcast Sportsnet reported the 49ers and Patriots have called about Jackson.
NFL Network reported the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders have checked about Jackson.
Jackson caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
