I don't know how they measure the players' height but they always come up shorter than what they are listed in college. I know they are taken without shoes and may be their spines are compressed but I still think it's not very accurate even though they use eights of an inch.

Schools inflate their players' measurables as media guide fodder and to make them appear more attractive to pro teams. This is not a novel concept.

I still don't know why teams do it. The real heights are going to come out anyway at any all star game, combine, or pro day.

Naaman Roosevelt is 6 feet tall and has 10 3/8 inch hands? Wow. Something tells me he has no trouble finding a date on the Buffalo campus.
