Ed Reed: Leaving Ravens hardest thing to go through

Ed Reed said leaving the Baltimore Ravens this off-season for the Houston Texans was "the hardest thing I went through in my life. I wanted to be Black and Purple, but I’m 34 now and the league knows that.”

Reed made those comments to 105.7 FM The Fan in Baltimore, which were relayed by CBSBaltimore.

Reed at least can take solace in the fact that his final game in a Ravens uniform ended with a Super Bowl vicory as he begins the next chapter of his NFL life with the Texans.

“Did I want it? No. Do I understand it? Yes,” Reed said. “It’s a business, but the way it ended in Baltimore? You cannot write a better book.”
