APTrent Edwards
Outside of the lunatic fringe fraternity of NFL coaches, there may not be a person on this planet who watches more game film than ESPN Monday Night Football analyst Ron Jaworski.
The native of the Buffalo suburb of Lackawanna spends so much time at the NFL Films office in Mount Laurel, N.J., which is near his suburban Philadelphia home, that they ought to rename the building after him.
Jaworski is one of the game's finest analysts. And given that he played 15 years in the NFL and still ranks 41st all-time in career passing yards despite retiring 21 years ago, quite naturally the position he is most adept at scrutinizing is quarterback.
So when Jaworski starts talking signal callers, you listen, and this is what he recently said about Buffalo's Trent Edwards: "I think he's going to be a tremendous NFL quarterback. It's just a matter of being consistent."

One of the most competitive divisions, and a big guy like him is a whole lot of target for injury concerns, more of him to hit.
The Buffalo team needs a shaman to remove the jinx of benching Doug Flutie back in the day. It was a deserved losing streak from such a perspective. This has gone to the point they really need a mercy rule, or an ordinance against hats with wings all over them, until the team itself can play hot.
That might fix things quickly, some kind of unorthodox motivation. Coach Jauron as medicine man, maybe they can fly in someone from Jamaica to help with the huddle voodoo, the inspiration has to come from somewhere.
The mystery and awesomeness Marshawn Lynch could help that, provided he brings the supernatural funk to games and doesn't waste that energy off the field.
