EIGHT: Fergie- We found out this week, of all the themes we have done here at the NFP, we have never talked about music—and the women behind the microphones on stage. WWE Divas, athletes, reality stars from “B” rated shows—they all made the cut. But, this week, we are going with the music queens and starting with Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. Enjoy.

SEVEN: Playoff Bound- I really wanted to come up with something creative to respond to the claims by Richard Seymour that Oakland is headed to the playoffs (especially for the NFP’s Wes Bunting who loves those Raiders), but after thinking about it, do I really need to comment on something as asinine as that?

SIX: Merriman Talk- San Diego linebacker Shawne Merriman said that the Broncos were “disrespectful” to the Bolts for their pre-game antics when the Denver players came over to the Chargers bench in pregame warm-ups. He also stated, “But we get to see them again. They didn’t have a cakewalk here.” I don’t know, but it kind of looked like a “cakewalk” to me when the Broncos ran all over the San Diego front seven in the fourth quarter on Monday night.

FIVE: Beyonce- Golly, what NFP Fantasy Expert Joe Fortenbaugh would give to live in Jay-Z’s shoes for one day, just one day. Then he could see what it is like to hang out with one of the hottest performers that we have ever seen—Miss Beyonce Knowles.

FOUR: Cowboy Benching- I find it amusing that the Cowboys Patrick Crayton was expecting the coaching staff to tell him that he would no longer be running with the first unit on Sundays. Patrick, Roy Williams cost Jerry Jones millions and draft picks, and Miles Austin just had a game when he piled up 250 yards receiving. I am pretty sure you saw this coming.

THREE: Allen speaks out- Jared Allen has pretty much deserved the right to talk—about anyone—and he did it again this week when the Ravens Michael Oher decided to talk a little trash after the Vikings victory. But, Allen responded, saying, “I beat that dude like a red-headed step child.” Don’t feel bad rookie, it happened against the Packers and it will happen against the Bears also when they face Allen. You aren’t the only one.

TWO: Largent Speaks up- Former Seahawk great Steve Largent—who is a former teammate of Jim Zorn’s—went to town on Dan Snyder and the Skins this week. He pointed the finger at a lot of things, but centered on the fact that new play caller Sherm Lewis was “pulling out ping-pong balls in the Bingo games” back in Detroit just a short time ago. That has to be one of the best sound bites of the season. Folks, you just can’t make this stuff up, and I can’t say anything that is funnier than that. Go Skins.

ONE: Britney- How can we talk about music and babes without talking about Britney. Sure, we all know that she has changed since meeting K Fed and turning her life into an absolute mess, but she is our editor’s favorite, and we believe we would be doing our readers an injustice without brining you a picture from the past—when we all loved Britney.

Click here to enter for a chance to go see the Eagles take on the Chargers in San Diego from the NFP.

Have a good weekend. He gone. Go Hawks—beat Sparty.

Speaking of the Redskins...has anyone seen John Riggins' videos on YouTube? Even when our Skins are sucking, there's always bound to be something interesting revolving around them. Gotta love big John Riggins.

How anyone can say Bowen's NFL career was 'useless' when it led directly to him getting paid to write about women and Bud Heavies is beyond me.

This would have been the perfect column to give us a Faith Hill pic. She makes me look forward to every Sunday night, those black boots rock! Not sure I get dogging the Raiders and saying "Go Skins" in the same column. Only place skins are going is down to the wire with the raiders and rams for the first pick in next year's draft.
