The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to terms with first-round safety Eric Berry, according to Eric Berry.
The fifth overall pick of the draft indicated on his official Twitter account that his contract is done.
"Bout to heard to st. Joe!!!," Berry wrote. "Aka the deals done!."
UPDATE: According to a league source, Berry received a six-year, $60 million contract that includes $34 million in guaranteeed money.
St. Joseph, Missouri's Missouri Western State University is the site of the Chiefs' camp.
The Jim Thorpe Award winner as the nation's top defensive back, Berry intercepted 14 career passes and returned three for touchdowns.
The athletic 6-foot, 205-pounder registered 245 tackles, 17 1/2 for losses and three sacks.
Berry was twice named first-team All-American and was named All-Southeastern Conference three times.

That's a hefty deal but if he plays up to his potential it will be worth it. The kid has all the tools you look for in a safety, speed, toughness, good tackler, good in coverage.He's just what the Chiefs defense needs.
