Eric Reid to adjust playing style

49ers safety Eric Reid was on the turf for about 10 seconds after hitting Panthers running back Mike Tolbert.

His helmet collided with Tolbert, with the safety taking the brunt of the blow. It caused a concussion, which removed Reid from the gain.

On Thursday, Reid told reporters he may change his playing style as a result.

“Guys are a little bit stronger and little bit bigger than what I’m used to playing, so I might have to adjust the way I play a little bit," Reid said, via CSNBayArea.com.
