Erik Ainge, a former University of Tennessee quarterback who spent some time with the New York Jets, has been arrested in Knoxville, Tenn., on a DUI charge, per the Knoxville News-Sentinel.
Ainge was arrested early Sunday morning. A fifth-round pick of the Jets in 2008, Ainge's career in the NFL was brief, thanks in part to injuries. He later admitted to havign battled alcohol and drug addictions while in college and in the NFL. He was suspended for part of his rookie season for violating the league' substance abuse policy.
