Ernest Wallace has pretrial hearing today
In the latest development in the case of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, who stands accused of murdering Odin Lloyd, a pretrial hearing is set for today in Attleboro District Court.
Ernest Wallace is the alleged accessor to Hernandez who's scheduled for the hearing, which is set for 2 p.m. ET.
Wallace has been held without bail since being arraigned July 8.
Unlike Carlos Ortiz, who's also in jail, Wallace apparently isn't cooperating with authorities as they build their case against Hernandez.
Hernandez has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and held without bail.
Hernandez allegedly orchestrated the killing of Lloyd, whose body was found shot five times in an industrial park near the ex-NFL player's home.
It's unclear if this pretrial hearing will shed more light on a case that has dominated the news cycle since Hernandez's alleged involvement first became known.
Although Hernandez's lawyers and a presiding judge have characterized prosecutors' case as circumstantial and the murder weapon hasn't been recovered, it's still quite the mounting pile of evidence against him.
Hernandez has been descrbed as a model prisoner by jail officials.
