NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A former National Football League player is facing charges of selling prescription painkillers from his Connecticut home.

Former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Gennaro DiNapoli is in trouble with the law.

He was charged last week with two counts of selling oxycodone in Connecticut.

He's free on $150,000 bond and has been assigned a June 17 court date.

DiNapoli, who played in the NFL for seven seasons as a center and guard with the Cowboys, Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans, allegedly sold undercover DEA agents over $6,000 worth of oxycodone pills in April and May.
