Former Atlanta Falcons first-round defensive tackle Peria Jerry is retiring after five NFL seasons.

Jerry was drafted 24th overall in 2009.

Jerry injured his knee in the second game of his rookie season.

For his career, Jerry has recorded 79 tackles, 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
