Falcons' Samuel suffers thigh injury

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel left Saturday night's 27-16 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the first half with a thigh injury.

Samuel's return to the game was listed as questionable, but he did not come back into the contest.

Rookie cornerback Robert Alford replaced Samuel for the Falcons. While the Titans tested Alford, who gave up a 56-yard completion to Michael Preston. Alford later intercepted Titans backup quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
