The Atlanta Falcons have reached a deal with rookie cornerback Desmond Trufant, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Trufant, the Falcons first-round pick from the University of Washington, was the 22nd overall pick in the 2013 draft.

The Falcons and Trufant had been having issues in getting the contract completed in recent days, but reached an agreement on Wednesday.  The deal comes in time for Trufant to be present at the start of camp, which opens Thursday.
